somewhere in the mountains

It’s been difficult finding time to take photographs and edit while I’m in school. I’m sitting on a pile of photos from past trips going back to three years ago that I have yet to edit. I finally got these done over the 2.5 months when I was doing schoolwork and research from home. They’re from the trip I took to Europe the summer after I graduated from college. I did a Workaway in the south of France (Moulis, France, in the Pyrenees Mountains) at the vegetable farm of a couple who sells vegetables at the local farmer’s market every weekend. It was incredible and was also where I met the most amazing cat I have ever known (because these are the important things). She’s pictured below. I also visited Paris, Nice, and Marseilles before heading to Murren in the Swiss Alps, where I spent 5 days hiking in the mountains. Those mountains were so picturesque; even when you were there in person, the mountains looked surreal, like you couldn’t believe that they were truly in front of you and weren’t just a hyper-realistic image from an IMAX movie. I’m definitely looking forward to going back one day.
